Upon passing your first IAPP certification exam, the IAPP charges a certification maintenance fee of $250 to keep certification(s) current.
- This maintenance fee must be renewed every two years, in addition to meeting continuing privacy education requirements of 20 credits.
- The Certification Maintenance Fee is an IAPP membership benefit, and the purchase of a CMF is not necessary when annual membership is maintained.
- Non-members are encouraged to purchase the Certification Maintenance Fee at the time of exam purchase so it will activate automatically upon passing the exam.
